All in #100DaysOfADesignMagpie
I don't think I can quite believe it but I've only gone and reached the end of my 100 day project! And so, what better way to celebrate last night than by embracing my inner Asian and visiting Proud East's pop up India! As we lapped up our super colourful surroundings, we practically managed to polish off the entire Chit Chaat Chai yummy menu.
So it turns out doing absolutely nothing yesterday was beautifully blissful! London life can be insanely busy as you're constantly jumping from one thing to the next, so I really relish the times I can slow down the rat race and actually have time to think and relax.
Woohoo it's the weekend! Finally a chance to get some serious R&R in - I've been burning the candle at both ends far too much this week. So for the first time in long time, I have zero plans for the next two days and I'm going to embrace the art of slow living.
Happy World Chocolate Day everyone! Is it me, or does this tile formation at Lambeth North remind you of tiny segments of the sweet stuff
A visit to the new Serpentine pavilion would not be complete without a taking a peep at Grayson Perry's 'The Most Popular Art Exhibition Ever!'
Attention everyone, White City's disused petrol station has had an injection of some much needed colour from the creative duo, Craig and Karl
Summer is Aperol Spritz season, and it definitely tastes all the better when you're sipping it with your pals from We Blog Design! Last night we got to explore the lovely Future and Found store, and I found some beautifully pieces!
It's already time to wave goodbye to June - but, here are some of my favourite daily June moments in my usual mini monthly movie! It's been a bit of funny month with the election, art exhibitions, Love Island, so much food, the Baby Driver premiere and plenty of Netflix inc. House of Cards and Orange is the New Black!
It's finally the weekend and it's time to make a splash! I'm spending today with the In Colourful Company crew, going on a photo walk around London! I'm hoping to spot a few new wonderful walls like this Huntoland gem.
I had such an electrifying evening at Sarah Akwisombe's panel discussion about how brands, PRs and influencers can work together - I really appreciated how 2lgstudio really brought their A game sass to the chat. Plus, the Buster and Punch venue was absolutely gorgeous, so sleek and monochrome which usually really isn't my vibe but their playful use of edgy rare materials, really appealed to me!
Happy 8th Birthday to the fabulous Smug! Lizzie was lovely enough to host a wonderful get together last night with super cute decorations including these confetti balloons - I still can't believe it was my first time to visit the shop!
Whilst the weather outside might be drab and dreary, here's a little shiny pick me up - just to act as a little reminder that you can find a spot of sunshine wherever you are! All thanks to Bonnie Gull at the Pergola on the Roof's dazzling decor.
Why must Marks and Spencer torture me with this pink pillow of perfection? I already have far too many cushions?! This little diamond number definitely deserves a home though, surely?
It's the start of a brand new week and whilst I'm still half-awake, my ears are always perky - just like this Urban Solid installation! Public art can sometimes be a little hit and miss but this Brick Lane beauty is such a breath of fresh air.
I don't think it's officially summer until Serpentine's pavilion has gone up and this year's geometric beauty has been designed by Kéré Architecture.
My kinda Friday night is definitely spent surrounded by amazing art and luckily last night I got to do just that, at the 249th Royal Academy of the Arts Summer Exhibition!
I'm so thankful that the sun has cooled down a little, to a much more bearable temperature - I even managed to get a much better night's sleep! So now the sun has got is hat on, it's time to get ready with a playful print like this Mr Penfold mural! You always gotta look fierce on a Friday, right?
