After the original transmission of Doctor Who's The Power of the Daleks series had been lost for 50 years, BBC Worldwide released a hand-drawn animation of the series with the digitally remastered recording of the 1966 audio. BBC Store needed to capitalise on the 10-day exclusive rights it had to the animation before it was launched on other SVOD platforms and on DVD. The marketing campaign consisted of a live Periscope broadcast of the first 3 minutes of the series, daily twitter watchalongs, twitter stickers and interviews with the original cast.
